Just a Few of the Trees that
had to be moved <>
With the redevelopment of
Solihull some road junctions had to be re-aligned therefore some of our
trees had to be moved and re-planted, just a few pictures of how it was
done.
The shots are from our family cine archives.
The heavy
machines below were used to move the trees and it proved to be very successful .
Solihull's Town Motto is URBS - IN -RURE Which means
Town In The Country
Every way into Solihull at one time was down a tree lined road and very
attractive they looked. |
